Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP Manufacturing Consultant with a strong focus on Production Planning (PP), Execution, and Plant Maintenance (PM). This role is crucial for supporting and optimizing our manufacturing operations through effective SAP module configuration and integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure SAP PP modules, including Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Bills of Material (BOM), Routings, and Work Centers, to meet specific business needs.
- Provide essential support for production execution processes, ensuring seamless shop floor integration with the SAP system.
- Configure SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) functionalities, covering both Preventive and Corrective Maintenance strategies.
- Facilitate integration between SAP PP and other key modules such as Materials Management (MM), Quality Management (QM), and Controlling (CO) to ensure data consistency and process efficiency.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions to validate system configurations and functionality.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training sessions to end-users, ensuring effective adoption and utilization of SAP PP functionalities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and system optimization within the manufacturing domain.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP PP and PM configurations and processes.
- Document configurations, processes, and training materials to maintain a knowledge base and support future enhancements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven and extensive experience in SAP PP configuration and support is mandatory.
- Demonstrated experience in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) is highly desirable and considered a significant advantage.
- Solid understanding and practical experience within manufacturing industry environments, including production planning and execution.
- Proficiency in managing capacity planning and maintenance planning processes within SAP.
- Ability to integrate SAP PP with other modules like MM, QM, and CO.
- Experience in conducting UAT and delivering user training.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
This remote role offers a 12-month contract opportunity for a skilled SAP PP consultant to make a significant impact on our manufacturing operations. We are looking for individuals who can bring expertise and a proactive approach to system configuration and support.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $60 – $80 per year (Estimated)
