Job Overview
We are seeking two highly skilled Full Stack Developers with a strong emphasis on both backend and frontend technologies for an onsite contract position in Newark, NJ. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of the entire software development lifecycle, from database design and optimization to frontend interface development and backend service implementation. The ideal candidates will possess expertise in Java Spring Boot for backend services, Angular for dynamic frontend interfaces, and Drupal for web platform development. A solid foundation in Oracle database management, including complex SQL queries and performance tuning, is essential. Additionally, experience with version control systems like Git/Bitbucket and familiarity with DevOps practices such as CI/CD and Docker are crucial for success in this role. We are looking for proactive individuals who can work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team, ideally with experience in the healthcare industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Database & Data Management:
- Leverage strong Oracle Database skills to design and maintain relational database schemas (Oracle, MySQL).
- Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and performance-tuned indexes to ensure efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
- Handle data migration, normalization, and optimization for high-volume systems.
- Experience with NoSQL databases is considered a plus.
- Frontend Development:
- Develop responsive, user-friendly web interfaces using Angular (latest version), HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and potentially React.
- Translate UI/UX designs and prototypes into functional and visually appealing UI components.
- Optimize frontend performance to ensure fast loading times and seamless cross-browser compatibility.
- Web Platform Development:
- Develop, customize, and maintain Drupal-based websites and applications.
- Build and manage custom Drupal modules, themes, content types, and views to extend functionality.
- Integrate Drupal with backend services and third-party systems via APIs, ensuring smooth data flow and interoperability.
- Backend Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
- Implement business logic, integrations, and backend services with a focus on high performance and reliability.
- Ensure applications adhere to security, scalability, and performance best practices.
- Other Preferred Skills:
- Participate actively in CI/CD pipelines, build automation, and deployment processes.
- Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and stability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git/Bitbucket and DevOps practices (CI/CD, Docker).
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is beneficial.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies and teams.
- Prior experience in the healthcare industry is highly desirable.
