Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to join our team, focusing on the BFSI domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and extensive experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies, removing impediments, and coaching teams.

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Planning, Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Remove impediments and coach teams on Agile/Scrum principles and practices.
  • Partner with Product Owners on backlog grooming and prioritization.
  • Track Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown/burnup charts, and sprint health.
  • Identify and escalate risks, dependencies, and blockers.
  • Drive continuous improvement through effective retrospectives.
  • Utilize JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps for project management.
  • Coordinate with onshore and offshore teams.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Apply problem-solving and conflict resolution techniques.

Must-Have Requirements:

  • 10+ years of overall professional experience.
  • 3+ years of experience specifically as a Scrum Master.
  • Experience in the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, Insurance) domain, preferably within a regulated environment.
  • Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
  • Experience with Kanban.
  • CSM, SSM, or PMI-ACP certification.
  • Experience with release planning.

Location:

This is an onsite role in Mount Laurel, NJ. Candidates must be local to the area.

Special Requirements

Onsite role, locals only. BFSI domain experience required. Requires strong communication and facilitation skills.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $110,000 – $160,000 per year
