Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Azure Lead / Senior Developer to join our team in San Francisco, CA. This role requires providing technical expertise, project oversight, communication, and collaboration within assigned development teams, guiding projects to meet specifications. The successful candidate will architect, design, and build performant and scalable solutions using the Microsoft .NET Core stack and the Azure platform. Responsibilities include designing and developing software applications across all layers (persistence, business logic, service layers, front-end, and APIs), writing scalable, testable, high-quality code, and mentoring offshore counterparts to ensure proactive and predictable delivery with maintained quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise, project oversight, communication, and collaboration within the assigned development team(s), guiding and ensuring projects meet specifications.
- Architect, design, and build performant and scalable solutions using the Microsoft .NET Core stack and the Azure platform.
- Design and develop software applications on all layers: persistence, business logic and service layers, front-end, and APIs.
- Write scalable, testable, high-quality code that meets requirements.
- Mentor offshore counterparts to strengthen proactive and predictable delivery while maintaining quality standards.
- Conduct design and code reviews and ensure delivery of high-quality, value-driven, operationally efficient features.
- Own the software development life-cycle from project inception to release and production.
- Build strong relationships across development teams, business analysts, and stakeholders; communicate progress, issues, and mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with other teams to improve architecture, tools, and processes.
Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of hands-on experience designing/architecting enterprise software solutions, including cloud-based applications using C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, and Web/REST API.
- Hands-on development experience with Azure services such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Blob Storage, App Service, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Queues, and Azure API Management.
- Experience applying best-practice patterns to re-engineer existing complex systems.
- 5+ years working with Azure DevOps (Git repositories, pull requests, deployment pipelines).
- 3+ years developing UI applications with modern tools such as Blazor, Responsive Design, Bootstrap, Modular CSS, Ajax.
- 3-5 years of technical management experience leading and mentoring software-engineering teams.
- Experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in ambiguous situations.

Salary: $130,000 – $170,000 per year (Estimated)
