Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Guidewire Architect with extensive experience in Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP) to lead our client’s Guidewire implementation and cloud transformation initiatives. This is a remote position requiring strong technical leadership, architectural design skills, and a deep understanding of the P&C insurance domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and solution design for Guidewire implementations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical best practices.
- Drive Guidewire Cloud transformation and migration initiatives, leveraging expertise in GWCP.
- Define the technical roadmap, including integrations, data strategies, and deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, product managers, and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Ensure the performance, scalability, security, and maintainability of Guidewire applications.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce development standards to maintain code quality.
- Support the Agile delivery model, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Guidewire implementations.
Must-Have Skills (Strict Screening Criteria)
- Guidewire Architect with 6+ years of Guidewire experience.
- Strong expertise in at least one of the following: PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter.
- Guidewire Cloud Certification (Mandatory).
- Hands-on experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP).
- Strong programming experience in Gosu.
- Experience designing REST/SOAP APIs and integrations.
- Cloud platform experience: AWS / Azure / GCP.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Strong understanding of the P&C Insurance domain.
- Excellent communication skills, suitable for a client-facing role.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Guidewire ACE Certification.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Docker / Kubernetes.
- Experience in Guidewire upgrades or cloud migration projects.
