Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Generative AI specialist. This role involves designing, implementing, and deploying cutting-edge generative AI models for various applications, including text, code, and multimodal outputs. You will be instrumental in fine-tuning, optimizing, and deploying large language models (LLMs) such as GPT, Claude, and Llama. The position requires strong Python development skills for building ML applications and APIs, along with expertise in prompt engineering and model evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement generative AI models for text, code, and multimodal applications.
  • Fine-tune, optimize, and deploy large language models (e.g., GPT, Claude, Llama).
  • Develop training pipelines for custom generative models and foundation model adaptation.
  • Build robust ML applications, APIs, and services using Python and ML frameworks.
  • Create and optimize prompts for various LLM applications and use cases.
  • Implement evaluation frameworks for generative AI model performance and safety.
  • Deploy and monitor ML models in production environments with proper scaling.
  • Stay current with the latest GenAI research and implement state-of-the-art techniques.
  • Build data preprocessing and feature engineering pipelines for ML workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and data science teams to deliver AI solutions.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of GenAI, NLP, and Machine Learning.
  • Knowledge of data management.
  • Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks/libraries like Langchain, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers.
  • Good knowledge of Public and Private cloud environments (Azure, AWS, OpenShift, Dockers, Kubernetes, ELK).
  • Good understanding of microservice architecture.
  • Experience with databases (SQL Server, Snowflake, SingleStore, etc.).
  • Strong analytical, consultative, and team communication facilitative skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Understanding of IT Standards, Methodologies, CMM audit requirements.
  • Agile experience.
  • Financial institution knowledge.

Special Requirements

LOCAL TO Minneapolis ONLY, Contract, 6+ Months


Compensation & Location

Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: Minneapolis, MN
