Role Overview
We are seeking a high-impact Program Manager with a deep technical foundation in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Apigee X to lead complex infrastructure and API modernization initiatives. This is a “Technical Program Manager” style role that requires a blend of high-level strategic oversight and a granular understanding of SRE/DevOps principles. You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, infrastructure automation, and ensuring the reliability of enterprise-scale API architectures.
Technical Core & Responsibilities
API & Cloud Governance
- Apigee X Leadership: Oversee the strategy and lifecycle management for Apigee X environments, ensuring secure and scalable API gateway architectures.
- GCP Architecture: Lead programs focused on Google Cloud infrastructure, aligning cloud native services with business-critical reliability standards.
- Strategic Oversight: Manage cross-functional roadmaps for API deployments, migrations, and platform enhancements.
Infrastructure & Operations (SRE)
- DevOps Automation: Drive the adoption of infrastructure automation to streamline deployments and reduce manual operational overhead.
- Operational Excellence: Establish and monitor frameworks for system reliability, focusing on high availability in distributed cloud environments.
- Incident Management: Lead troubleshooting efforts and root cause analysis (RCA) across diverse environments to ensure rapid issue resolution.
Monitoring & Observability
- Observability Frameworks: Implement and oversee robust monitoring strategies to gain deep visibility into system performance and API health.
- System Reliability: Use data-driven insights to predict potential bottlenecks and proactively improve infrastructure resilience.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Expertise: Subject Matter Expertise in Apigee X and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) architecture is non-negotiable.
- Operations Background: Proven experience in Infrastructure Automation, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
- Program Management: Strong track record of managing multi-million dollar technical programs within large-scale enterprise environments.
- Analytical Skills: Expert in monitoring, observability, and complex troubleshooting across hybrid or multi-cloud stacks.
- Compliance: Strict adherence to U.S. Person requirements as defined by federal regulations.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $150,000 – $200,000 per year (Estimated)
