Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP EWM Consultant with strong EWM processes and EWM rollout and implementation experience. This role involves leadership, functional ownership, integration, project management, and continuous improvement within SAP EWM.
Key Responsibilities
- 1) Leadership & Governance
- Act as SPOC for EWM at the site; own daily standups, incident triage, and executive updates.
- Govern AMS delivery (incidents/problems/changes), enforce SLAs, and manage backlog/aging.
- Lead Fit-to-Standard / solution workshops; challenge custom demands and promote SAP best practices.
- Manage multivendor/offshore teams; conduct code and config quality reviews; ensure audit/compliance.
- Run weekly governance with KPIs, risks, and release notes; drive stakeholder alignment and signoffs.
- 2) EWM Functional Ownership
- Design & configure core Inbound (ASN/GR/QA), Internal (putaway, replenishment, RF), and Outbound (picking, packing, staging, loading, GI) processes.
- Set up and optimize: Storage types/sections/bins, WOCR, WT strategies, Putaway/Picking strategies, HU management, Serials, Batch managed flows, POSC/LOSC, Labor Management (if in scope), Physical Inventory, Yard Management, CrossDocking, VMI/3PL scenarios (optional).
- Configure PPF actions, Condition techniques, Warehouse Monitor, and RF frameworks.
- Troubleshoot qRFC/queues, IDocs, and integration issues with automation (conveyors, AS/RS, sorters, scanners).
- 3) Integration & CrossModule
- Own EWM integration with SD (outbound deliveries), MM (inbound GR), PP (staging/Kanban), QM (inspection lots), GTS/TM where applicable.
- Coordinate with Basis/Security for user roles, performance, and transport governance; collaborate with ABAP for WRICEF objects.
- 4) Projects & Enhancements
- Lead change initiatives: solution design, Functional Specs, SIT/UAT, cutover planning, and hypercare.
- Evaluate and implement Fiori apps for warehouse operations; standardize SOPs/KEDB and training.
- 5) AMS & Continuous Improvement
- Handle L3 incidents and root cause analysis; implement preventive fixes and automation.
- Drive productivity (e.g., optimized WO creation, slotting, RF screen flows) and reduce manual steps.
- Track and improve KPIs: pick accuracy, dock-to-stock time, order cycle time, and stock discrepancies.
Desired Role
- Experience in SAP WM and EWM with knowledge in S/4 EWM.
- Shipping or Distribution.
- Picking, Packing, Delivery Documents, Batch Management.
- Radio Frequency/RFID.
- Handling Unit Management.
- Storage Unit Management.
- Logistics and Transportation Management.
- Shipment & Shipment Costing.
- Experience in IDOCS and Batch jobs Outbound and Inbound.
- Inventory Management (GR, GI, TP, STO).
- Participate in Assessment, Scoping and Estimation activities for RFQs.
- Participate in suggesting or leading Process Improvement for the Practice.
- Understanding, analysing, explore and test new features introduced in S4HANA eWM with regards to Best Practices from SAP.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree preferred.
- 12+ Years of experience in SAP.

- Flexibility to adjust regular business hours to the needs of global customers.
- Strong technical and customer-facing experience.
Special Requirements
Considering H1B also. Onsite from Day 1.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $110,000 – $150,000 per year
