About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development and scaling of a cutting-edge Policy-as-Code platform. This platform is crucial for Data Governance & Compliance initiatives, focusing on automation, robust backend development, and the design of high-scale, resilient systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems and automation solutions that support our data governance and compliance objectives.
- Translate complex governance requirements and policies into efficient, well-structured code.
- Ensure the performance, reliability, and scalability of the platform through rigorous testing and optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand evolving data governance needs and implement effective solutions.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical roadmap planning for the Policy-as-Code platform.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in software development.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, Kotlin, or Node.js.
- Demonstrated experience with data governance, policy management, or compliance frameworks.
- Strong understanding and practical experience with distributed systems and automation principles.
- Experience in designing and implementing high-scale, fault-tolerant systems.
- Familiarity with cloud environments and microservices architecture is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

This project involves building and scaling a Policy-as-Code platform designed to enforce and manage data governance and compliance policies programmatically. The platform aims to automate policy definition, enforcement, and auditing, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal standards. The focus is on creating a robust, automated, and scalable solution that integrates seamlessly into the existing data infrastructure.

- Duration: 6 months contract
- Employment Type: C2C / C2H (Contract-to-Hire)
