Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager to lead the planning, implementation, and successful delivery of technical projects for one of our clients. This role requires a strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and excellent leadership and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing IT or software development projects and coordinating with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and implementation of technical projects, including defining project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Develop detailed project plans; track progress and adjust, as necessary.
- Manage project risks, issues, and changes to ensure successful project delivery.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams, product owners, and business stakeholders.
- Ensure technical requirements are clearly understood and met by the development teams.
- Monitor and report on project performance metrics and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and methodologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or similar role in IT or software development.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Trello).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Mandatory Technical & Domain Skills: Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, Trello. Ability to interpret and manage technical requirements. Experience leading IT or software development projects.
- Mandatory Project Management Skills: Project planning, execution, and delivery. Risk, issue, and change management. Resource coordination with internal teams and vendors. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience creating and maintaining detailed project plans.
- Communication & Leadership Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management. Leadership skills to guide cross-functional technical teams. Ability to provide clear and consistent status updates.
