Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled React JS Developer for an onsite contract role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing user-facing web applications. This role requires strong proficiency in JavaScript and React, along with a solid understanding of front-end development best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable JavaScript code.
  • Develop new user-facing features using React.js.
  • Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
  • Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  • Collaborate with back-end developers and designers to improve usability.
  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a React JS Developer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • In-depth knowledge of React.js and its core principles.
  • Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux).
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
  • Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • This is an onsite contract position located in Plano, TX.
  • Candidates must be local to the Plano, TX area.
  • The role requires a strong understanding of JavaScript and the React ecosystem.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $60 – $85 per year
