Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service (WACS) Technical Lead to support a large-scale utility transformation initiative. This role will focus on leading implementation, configuration, and integration efforts within enterprise utility environments. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical depth in Oracle WACS, combined with leadership experience guiding delivery teams in complex, SI-led programs.
Experience Required
- 7+ years of experience in Oracle Utilities, asset management platforms, or related enterprise utility systems
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service (WACS)
- Proven experience operating in Technical Lead or Solution Lead roles
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Oracle WACS solutions
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions within WACS
- Guide development and configuration teams through delivery phases
- Support integration efforts between WACS and adjacent enterprise systems (ERP, GIS, mobile workforce, etc.)
- Provide technical oversight, troubleshooting, and best-practice recommendations
- Partner with business stakeholders, program leadership, and system integrators to drive successful outcomes
- Contribute to architecture discussions and ensure alignment with enterprise standards
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service (WACS)
- Experience configuring asset lifecycle, maintenance, and field work management workflows
- Familiarity with Oracle Utilities ecosystem and cloud-based enterprise platforms
- Experience supporting large-scale implementations in regulated utility environments
- Ability to lead technical teams and mentor junior resources
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interface with both technical and business stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within electric, gas, or water utility organizations
- Prior experience working on programs led by large system integrators
- Knowledge of enterprise integrations across ERP, asset management, and field service platforms
- Exposure to cloud transformation initiatives within utilities

Compensation & Location
Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
