Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Windows System Engineer with strong expertise in Azure and automation to join our team for a long-term contract role. This is a client-facing position that requires hands-on experience in cloud technologies, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). The role involves supporting and enhancing enterprise infrastructure platforms, including on-call support responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Windows Server infrastructure, both on-premises and in Azure.
- Automate server provisioning and configuration using PowerShell.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform Enterprise.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and performance tuning.
- Provide on-call support and act as an escalation point for critical incidents.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including cloud, infrastructure, security, and application teams.
- Engage with clients for technical updates and operational discussions.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, runbooks, and automation standards.
- Identify opportunities for automation and system optimization to improve efficiency and reliability.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Windows Server, including build, patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation capabilities.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
- Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
- Proven experience in production support and on-call environments.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills.
Plus Points
- Experience with Java / Groovy for Jenkins scripting.
- Knowledge of Group Policy (GPO).
- Understanding of server security, hardening, and compliance.
- Experience in hybrid cloud or enterprise environments.
Contract Details
- Duration: Long-term Contract
- Rate: $60/hr C2C (Including VMS Charges)
- No GC profiles accepted.
