About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Test Lead to manage and coordinate testing activities for enterprise transformation programs. This role requires a strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks, with hands-on experience in test management systems like JIRA, ALM, or Azure DevOps. The Test Lead will be responsible for developing test plans, coordinating execution, managing defects, and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts for various testing phases (SIT, UAT, Regression, Parallel Testing).
- Ensure the availability and accuracy of required test data in coordination with functional, technical, and environment teams.
- Work closely with DBA and technical teams to ensure system stability during testing cycles.
- Lead daily testing activities across multiple workstreams, ensuring adherence to planned schedules.
- Coordinate with functional SMEs, technical teams, and transformation partners to ensure smooth execution of testing cycles.
- Drive structured defect triage sessions to review, analyze, prioritize, and assign defects to the appropriate teams.
- Track defect status, follow up with owners, and ensure timely remediation.
- Communicate testing progress, risks, dependencies, and mitigation actions through structured reporting.
- Facilitate sign-offs and maintain complete documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
- Ensure that all deliverables meet defined quality standards and acceptance criteria.
- Advocate for best practice testing methodologies and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- Experience in enterprise transformation programs (Oracle, SAP, Workday, custom platforms, etc.).
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks (SIT, UAT, Regression, Automation).
- Hands-on experience with test management tools such as JIRA, ALM, Azure DevOps, qTest, or similar.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience coordinating with multi-vendor, globally distributed teams.
- Strong leadership and coordination skills.
- High attention to detail and structured execution mindset.
- Effective communication with both business users and technical teams.
- Ability to manage multiple testing cycles under tight deadlines.
- Commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
Special Requirements
Contract position. Experience with ALM-Azure-must.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 per year (Estimated)
