Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced professional for a Security Command Center role with GCP expertise. This is a remote, 3+ months contract position requiring 12+ years of experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architecting and engineering solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Managing and operating a Security Command Center.
- Implementing and maintaining security best practices within the GCP environment.
- Monitoring security alerts and incidents.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address security concerns.
- Developing and refining security policies and procedures.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.
Required Skills:
- Extensive architecture and engineering experience on GCP.
- Proven experience with Security Command Center.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles.
- Experience with security monitoring and incident response.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
Qualifications:
- 12+ years of overall IT experience.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience specifically in cloud security and GCP.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
