Job Summary:
This contract position is for a Natural Programmer to join the OIT Pensions Retired Payroll / Retirements project team. The role will focus on two key projects: Pensions Legacy Modernization and adding Ret-Code ’14’ for Court Ordered cases. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional Natural programming skills and experience leading projects.
Detailed Description:
- Work Schedule: The candidate will work a 40-hour week between the core hours of 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Onsite Requirement: The contractor must work onsite for a minimum of one month. After this initial period, the possibility of hybrid work may be considered.
- Technical Skills:
- Natural Programming: Required 5 Years
- ADABAS Database: Required 5 Years
- Job Control Language (JCL): Required 5 Years
- TSO/ISPF: Required 5 Years
- Project Leadership: Experience leading a project is required (5 Years).
- Documentation: The candidate must be proficient in using MSWORD and MSEXCEL to produce project documentation. Previous experience in documentation tasks is required (2 Years).
- Client Interaction: The candidate will be expected to communicate verbally and in writing with the client, requiring previous experience in client contact.
- Nice to Have Skills:
- Java: Nice to have 2 Years
- Oracle: Nice to have 2 Years
Additional Information:
The selected candidate must demonstrate exceptional Natural programming skills, both on the submitted resume and during the interview conducted at OIT. The candidate will be expected to communicate verbally and in writing with the client and must have previous experience performing client contact.
Special Requirements
Must work onsite for minimally a month. After this time, they can apply to work hybrid. In person interview.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $70 – $90 per year (Estimated)
Location: Trenton, NJ
