Requirements:
- Must be able to work 100% on-site from day one.
- Must possess all required skill sets and experience as a “On-Site Senior DBA (IBM DB2/Oracle 19c/SQL SERVER 2016/AZURE SQL)”.
- Preference for candidates with PUBLIC SECTOR Experience.
- Must meet the minimum required experience as defined under the MANDATORY Skill section.
- Must provide at least 3 verifiable experiences from completed and/or substantially completed jobs that closely match this request (Filling the client-provided form).
- Must sign a Resume certification form.
- Must be able to go through a background check including fingerprinting.
- Must agree to a Web Cam interview.
- Availability in April/May 2026 timeframe (minimum 2-3 weeks for start after successful interview).
Screening & Interview Process:
- Each staff member assigned to this project must have a background screening equivalent to a Level Two (2) screening standard.
- Interviews may be conducted via Microsoft Teams or in person at the hiring manager’s discretion.
- Web Cam interview required.
Scope of Services:
The DBA team is responsible for ensuring the application and processing architectures, data dictionaries, and database schemas meet the department standards for data requirements. The candidate in this position will be responsible for assisting in the design, development, amendments, and optimization of the schema to meet system(s) requirements. The candidate must be able to understand and demonstrate the ability to develop database and warehousing design across multiple platforms and computing environments. The candidate must be able to work as part of a team to assist in developing an overall data architecture that supports the Departments needs and meets Department and Agency for State Technology (AST) security standards.
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
Mandatory Experience (12 years combined):
- IBM DB2
- SQL Server 2016 and above
- Oracle 19c and above
- Azure SQL (a plus)
Primary Job Duties/ Tasks:
- Daily operational and database administration activities.
- Plan, design, implement, support for database structures.
- Conduct database performance monitoring and tuning.
- Develop and maintain database administration procedures and documentation.
- Perform SQL Code reviews.
- Assist with training/mentoring other technical staff.
- Perform other database or infrastructure activities as requested.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $70 – $95 per year (Estimated)
