Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Testing Lead with 8-12 years of experience, including at least 3-5 years in a Test Lead or Test Manager role. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have experience in enterprise transformation programs (Oracle, SAP, Workday, custom platforms, etc.) and a strong understanding of various testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks such as SIT, UAT, Regression, and Automation. Hands-on experience with test management tools like JIRA, ALM, Azure DevOps, or qTest is essential. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills, along with strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, are crucial. Experience coordinating with multi-vendor, globally distributed teams is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Strategy & Planning:

  • Lead the execution of the overall test strategy, ensuring alignment with program objectives and timelines.
  • Develop and maintain detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts for various testing phases (SIT, UAT, Regression, Parallel Testing).
  • Identify scope, dependencies, entry/exit criteria, and success metrics for each test cycle.

Test Data & Environment Readiness:

  • Ensure the availability and accuracy of required test data in coordination with functional, technical, and environment teams.
  • Validate environment readiness prior to each test phase and coordinate environment refreshes, configurations, and access requirements.
  • Work closely with DBA and technical teams to ensure system stability during testing cycles.

Execution & Coordination:

  • Lead daily testing activities across multiple workstreams, ensuring adherence to planned schedules.
  • Coordinate with functional SMEs, technical teams, and transformation partners to ensure smooth execution of testing cycles.
  • Monitor progress, identify bottlenecks, and facilitate timely resolution of issues.

Defect Management & Triage:

  • Drive structured defect triage sessions to review, analyze, prioritize, and assign defects to the appropriate teams.
  • Track defect status, follow up with owners, and ensure timely remediation.
  • Provide visibility into defect trends, root causes, and risk areas.

Business & Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with business users during UAT, ensuring clarity on test scripts, validation steps, and expected outcomes.
  • Communicate testing progress, risks, dependencies, and mitigation actions through structured reporting.
  • Facilitate sign-offs and maintain complete documentation for audit and compliance purposes.

Quality Assurance & Risk Management:

  • Ensure that all deliverables meet defined quality standards and acceptance criteria.
  • Identify quality risks early and develop mitigation strategies to reduce impact.
  • Advocate for best practice testing methodologies and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 8-12 years of experience in Software Testing.
  • 3-5 years in a Test Lead or Test Manager role.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 per year (Estimated)
