Job Description: QAD Techno functional Consultant
We are seeking a skilled and experienced QAD Techno functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of QAD EE, with a focus on distribution, manufacturing, shipping, and finance areas. This role requires proven experience in manufacturing and shipping modules, as well as expertise in Qxtend and QAD cloud, 3PL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct analysis sessions to understand functional and technical project requirements and document them thoroughly.
- Collaborate with remote/offshore development teams to convey requirements, explain functional flows, and provide support to ensure timely and high-quality development.
- Understand the customization capabilities of QAD and possess strong knowledge of PROGRESS 4GL/OpenEdge.
- Write queries to resolve issues and troubleshoot problems effectively.
- Experience in integration through Mulesoft is a significant advantage.
- Experience in integrating with multiple ERP systems is highly desirable.
- Work closely with customers to understand their functional requirements and document them.
- Review technical specifications prepared by developers and ensure their accuracy.
- Provide functional expertise to customers, suggesting viable solutions and alternatives.
- Lead the team to ensure the satisfactory completion of all solution deliveries.
- Participate in solution design and propose improvements.
- Provide input to Project Managers for developing project plans and ensure delivery aligns with project estimates.
- Ability to understand complex requirements and derive effective solution approaches.
- Guide developers with their development queries and review code, recommending changes as needed.
Must-Have Technical/Functional Skills:
- Strong domain knowledge in distribution, manufacturing, shipping, and finance areas with QAD EE.
- Proven experience in manufacturing and shipping modules.
- Hands-on experience with Qxtend and QAD cloud, 3PL.
- Strong knowledge of discrete orders, schedule orders, EDI, MRP, RSS, MSW/PSW, and Costing.
- Proficiency in requirement gathering, solution design, configurations, integration, and end-to-end functional testing.
- Understanding of QAD customization processes.
- Strong knowledge of PROGRESS 4GL/OpenEdge.
- Ability to write queries for issue resolution.

This is a contract position located in Kennesaw, GA. The role involves close collaboration with clients and development teams to deliver robust QAD solutions.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $60 – $80 per year (Estimated)
