Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer with a strong background in Java development and Oracle Fusion Middleware. This role requires extensive experience in application development, SOA, and integration technologies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing and implementing enterprise applications, particularly in the banking or financial services sector. Experience with microservices, Kafka, and REST APIs is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain software applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Design and implement solutions using Oracle Fusion Middleware SOA 11g/12c, Oracle Service Bus 11g/12c, and Oracle Integration Cloud.
- Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and related technologies including BPEL, Web Services, WSDL, SOAP, REST, XML, XSD, XPath, XSLT, and Web Service Security.
- Implement SOA Suite technology adapters (DB, JMS, MQ, and File) for integration with external systems.
- Develop and consume RESTful services adhering to the REST architectural pattern.
- Ensure IT Security Framework compliance, including Authentication, Authorization, and Access Control.
- Understand and apply Synchronous/Asynchronous communication patterns.
- Design and implement enterprise applications for large-scale data processing (real-time and batch).
- Provide production support for web applications, including troubleshooting and fixing defects.
- Experience in development and implementation within the Banking or Financial Services industry is required.
- Utilize Redis or Oracle Coherence Cache (a plus).
- Work with Data Base Technologies such as Oracle or Mongo DB.
- Participate in an Agile working environment (Scrum or Kanban).
- Implement solutions using Kafka.
- Develop and maintain Rest APIs.
- Work with Microservices or SOA architectures.
- Demonstrate the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and products.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of Software Engineering experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Application Development in Java.
- 3+ years of experience in Spring Boot.
- 5+ years of continued development experience in Oracle Fusion Middleware SOA 11g/12c, Oracle Service Bus 11g/12c and Oracle Integration Cloud.
- Experience in Service-Oriented Architecture and related technologies like BPEL, Web Services, WSDL, SOAP, REST, XML, XSD, XPath, XSLT and Web Service Security.
- Experience in implementing SOA Suite technology adapters (DB, JMS, MQ, and File) to integrate with external systems.
- Experience with the REST architectural pattern and experience building consumable RESTful services.
- Good understanding of IT Security Framework Authentication, Authorization, Access Control etc.
- Good understanding of Synchronous / Asynchronous communication patterns and Problem-solving abilities.
- 2+ years experience in designing and implementing enterprise applications for large scale data processing both real time and batch mode.
- 2+ years experience in production support for web applications including troubleshooting and fixing production defects.
- Experience in development and implementation in Banking or Financial Services.
- 3+ years of experience in Data Base Technologies such as Oracle or Mongo DB.
- 2+ years of experience in Agile working environment such as Scrum or Kanban.
- 2 +years of experience in Kafka.
- 2+ years of experience in Rest API.
- 2+ years of experience in Microservices or SOA.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and products.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Redis or Oracle Coherence Cache.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $60 – $75 per year (Estimated)
