Job Summary:
This role involves working as part of the Virginia Department of Health, Office of Information Management (VDH) to develop and maintain multiple .NET applications. The primary focus is on developing, maintaining, and enhancing ASP.NET/MVC and .NET Core applications. Strong expertise in C#, JQuery, Javascript, HTML, and SQL development is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, Maintain, and Enhance ASP.NET/MVC and .NET Core applications.
- Utilize C#, JQuery, Javascript, and HTML in development tasks.
- Perform SQL development, including database design.
- Ensure very good communication and documentation skills.
- Collaborate with teams on project plans and meetings.
Required Skill Set:
- C# .NET: 5+ years of experience in web application design and development.
- HTML, Jquery & Javascript: 5+ years of experience.
- SQL Server (DB design/development): 5+ years of experience.
- Very good Communication skills and documentation skills: 5+ years of experience.
Preferred Skill Set:
- Gitlab and DevSecOps: 1+ years of experience.
- Agile development methodology: 2+ years of experience.
- Microsoft M365 knowledge (Azure cloud, Power platform): Experience preferred.
- Telerik: 3+ years of experience.
Work Arrangement:
This is an on-site role, requiring 5 days per week in the office. Candidates must agree to on-site interviews, with no exceptions. A phone screen may be conducted if the applicant count is high. Candidates will be required to come onsite sometimes for project plans, meetings, etc. No exceptions.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $60,000 – $90,000 per year (Estimated)
