We are seeking a skilled AWS Data Engineer to work on our AWS-based architecture. The candidate will be responsible for data processing and management using AWS services. This is a remote contract opportunity.

Job Description Details:
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and implementing data solutions on the AWS platform. You will be responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and optimizing data storage and retrieval. This role requires a strong understanding of cloud-native data services and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using AWS services like Glue, SQS, and SNS.
- Implement data processing logic using Py-spark and Python.
- Design and manage data lakes and databases on AWS.
- Write efficient SQL queries for data analysis and manipulation.
- Utilize AWS services such as CloudWatch and CloudTrail for monitoring and logging.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS data technologies and best practices.
Experience Requirements:
- 10-13 years of experience in Data Engineering.
- Proven experience with AWS data services.
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
- Experience with big data technologies like Py-spark.
- Familiarity with data lake concepts and implementation.
- Experience with database design and management.
- Knowledge of secondary skills like AWS IAM, EKS, Terraform, Apache Airflow, and Autosys is a plus.
Special Requirements
Remote position. Client experience with Amazon, META, and ORACLE is preferred. Visa constraints not specified. Screening steps and interview modes not specified.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 per year (Estimated)
