About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled ETL Data Architect with strong expertise in Precisely ETL tools to design and deliver scalable data integration solutions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to build high-performance data pipelines, ensure data integrity, and support enterprise data modernization initiatives.

Required Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with Precisely ETL tools (Precisely Connect, Data Integrity Suite, Data360, Trillium)
  • Strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL workflows
  • Experience building complex batch and near real-time data pipelines
  • Strong knowledge of data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading processes
  • Experience ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems
  • Advanced SQL skills for data analysis, tuning, and validation
  • Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, or PostgreSQL
  • Strong troubleshooting, performance optimization, and debugging skills
  • Experience implementing logging, monitoring, and error handling in ETL processes
  • Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance standards

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience working with large-scale, high-volume datasets
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling
  • Experience with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting
  • Familiarity with scheduling tools like Control-M or Autosys
  • Experience supporting data migration and modernization initiatives

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Precisely tools
  • Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and technical teams to refine requirements
  • Build and optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability
  • Perform data profiling, validation, and transformation across multiple source systems
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across enterprise platforms
  • Create architectural designs, solution sketches, and technical documentation
  • Leverage existing architecture patterns and define new ones where needed
  • Present architectural solutions to stakeholders and incorporate feedback
  • Work with integration architects and domain architects for cross-system solutions
  • Monitor ETL jobs, troubleshoot issues, and improve processing efficiency
  • Support data migration, upgrades, and platform modernization efforts
  • Mentor junior developers and enforce best practices in ETL development
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply them to enhance solutions

Compensation & Location

Salary: $75 – $80 per year

Location: Haddam, CT
