Role Overview:
We are seeking a strategic, senior-level individual contributor to serve as a Salesforce Product Owner, specializing in CPQ/Q2C (Configure, Price, Quote / Quote to Cash). This role will own a portfolio of products and initiatives, working closely with business groups to understand demand, collaborate on detailed requirements, and contribute to high-level solution design and architecture. You will lead many of the Agile ceremonies, ensuring the team meets its goals on time and within budget, and will be responsible for managing integration across the platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with business groups to understand demand and collaborate on detailed requirements.
- Contribute to high-level solution design and architecture.
- Lead Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, story-pointing, retrospectives) to ensure team progress and remove blockers.
- Manage integration across the Salesforce platform.
- Own a portfolio of products/initiatives.
- Gather requirements, document AS-IS and TO-BE flows, and write PRD/FRD documents.
- Identify business process improvements and opportunities for automation.
- Participate in roadmap planning and identify touchpoints in multi-cloud implementations.
- Document work using flow charts, written descriptions, screenshots, and videos.
- Apply knowledge, skills, and judgment to make decisions and resolve issues.
- Escalate issues to the correct team or management as necessary.
- Coordinate and participate in UAT and Go-Live processes, including test planning, script development, execution, and status reporting.
- Develop strong client relationships by building trust, rapport, and positive working relationships.
- Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog according to business value.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors/Masters degree preferably in marketing, computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field.
- Must have experience working on quote to cash domain and Force.com Platform.
- 5+ years of experience as a product owner and leading a technical team.
- Experience with the Agile methodology.
- Experience managing projects using Agile software tools such as JIRA, Team Services, Rally.
- Experience working closely with business stakeholders and engineers to comprehend business processes in detail.
- Excellent written and visual communication skills.
- Clear verbal communicator, with the ability to effectively interact with business stakeholders.
- Self-directed, with the ability to break down complex processes, assign actions, and manage progress.
- Experience delivering product features within the Salesforce ecosystem.
Preferred Experience:
- Salesforce development/implementation project experience on Salesforce Sales/Service/Experience Cloud (at least one or more).
- Specific experience with CPQ is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to ensure team success.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills.
- Strong accountability, planning, organization, and teamwork skills.
