Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Consultant with over 10 years of experience, including at least two end-to-end implementation expertise on Oracle HCM interfaces using OIC. This is a techno-functional role requiring a professional who understands solutions, industry best practices, and can effectively coordinate with clients and manage multiple business processes or technology designs within the Oracle Integration Cloud family. You will operate independently to deliver quality work products and act as a key techno-functional consultant on Oracle Integration projects, effectively consulting with management and participating in business development activities. You will develop and configure detailed solutions for complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • In-depth working experience on Oracle Integration Cloud integrations, specifically with Oracle HCM (Core HR, Absences, and OTL modules).
  • Design, develop, and implement OIC integration solutions using OIC pre-built adapters, REST/SOAP web services, File Based Data Import/Export (FBDI), and HDL.
  • Handle transformations and orchestration of interfaces between systems.
  • Implement fault handling and error resolution mechanisms.
  • Develop customizations using Visual Builder, APEX, or VBCS.
  • Utilize SQL and PL/SQL for data manipulation.
  • Work with Oracle Autonomous Database (ATP DB).
  • Configure OIC connections (SOAP, REST, FTR, etc.).
  • Maintain detailed technical documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and support integrations, including raising SRs and coordinating with Oracle on issue resolution.
  • Assist in the identification and resolution of complex integration issues/problems.
  • Participate in requirement gathering workshops and interact with clients frequently.
  • Act as an independent contributor, having completed at least two projects on the mandatory skills.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) experience.
  • At least 2 end-to-end implementation expertise on Oracle HCM interfaces using OIC.
  • Techno-functional professional with strong understanding of solutions and industry best practices.
  • Experience in designing, developing, and implementing OIC integration solutions using OIC pre-built adapters, REST/SOAP web services, FBDI, and HDL.
  • Experience with transformations and orchestration of interfaces.
  • Experience with fault handling and error resolution mechanisms.
  • Experience with SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Experience with Oracle Autonomous DB (ATP DB).
  • Experience configuring OIC connections (SOAP, REST, FTR, etc.).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to articulate and present solutions effectively.
  • Experience in client-facing roles and requirement gathering workshops.
  • Strong personal drive, flexibility, problem-solving, influencing, and negotiating skills.
  • Organizational awareness and sensitivity.
  • Engagement delivery, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing capabilities.
  • Client management skills.

Good to Have Skills:

  • Understanding of Oracle HCM modules.
  • Experience on HCM Extracts and BI Reports.
  • Experience working with Agile Methodology and Jira Board.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $75 – $95 per year (Estimated)

Location: Boston, MA
