Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join our Retirements Fleet team. This role requires a blend of Business Analysis, Project Management, and Scrum Master responsibilities within an agile and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be adept at interacting with business stakeholders, performing detailed requirements analysis, and translating these into clear, concise specifications for the development team. You will collaborate closely with various internal IT teams within Wealth Management, other BA teams, QA teams, and offshore development teams. A strong understanding of the banking technology landscape is crucial, enabling you to propose creative solutions that integrate current capabilities with proprietary system builds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply functional expertise within a squad to achieve customer outcomes and deliver business value.
  • Assist in prioritizing and setting clear business goals and expectations for squad deliverables.
  • Contribute domain knowledge to help the squad understand the ‘What’.
  • Translate requirements into technical specifications and supporting information to guide the squad on the ‘How’.
  • Remove obstacles by engaging with stakeholders offline and fostering a shared understanding of handshakes and interfaces.
  • Collaborate with multiple upstream and downstream technology teams, including Data Warehouse, LoanIQ, and the firm’s GL system.
  • Work effectively as part of a banking Agile Squad, adhering to Agile development methodologies.
  • Interact with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements.
  • Write detailed user stories in JIRA and create other artifacts such as workflow charts and diagrams.
  • Develop solution requirements specifications in an Agile environment.
  • Work closely with the QA team to review test cases and assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders.
  • Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration and understanding.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role.
  • Solid understanding of system-to-system communication, contracts, and interface & sequence diagrams.
  • Familiarity with the basics of systems design, such as microservice architecture.
  • Flexible and open-minded, capable of driving implementation quickly with a high degree of quality.
  • Strong analytical and people skills, with a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, innovative, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to multitask across multiple projects.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications: Excel, MS Project, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to learn and grow.
  • Experience working within an Agile framework.
  • Must have 3 years of experience in the banking domain.
  • Must be a GA Local or near by who can do in-person interviews.
  • PP No. is mandatory.

Desired Skills:

  • Working knowledge of financial markets, lending-based products, and Wealth Management.
  • Working knowledge of financial accounting and treasury functions.
  • Understanding of how to create user flows.
  • Ability to understand and manipulate data for analysis.

Education:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: Alpharetta, GA
