Job Summary:
Apptad Inc is seeking a local Agile Project Manager with Release Train Engineer (RTE) experience for a 6-month contract-to-hire position in Pittsburgh, PA. This role requires 4 days onsite per week and is ideal for candidates with a strong background in Agile Project Management and the ability to support central functions for Compliance Engineering. The successful candidate will provide cross-team support across Portfolio and Value Management activities, focusing on facilitating PI Planning and ensuring smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate PI Planning activities, leveraging Release Train Engineer (RTE) capabilities.
- Provide cross-team support for Portfolio and Value Management activities.
- Support central functions for Compliance Engineering.
- Manage and track accomplishment reporting.
- Oversee vendor management processes.
- Handle resource management, including hiring processes.
- Manage financial and budget aspects of projects.
- Perform backlog management.
- Track Agile Delivery Metrics across the ECE Solution Train.
- Maintain sprint velocity metrics for RTEs and leadership, ensuring clear visibility into delivery performance and risk.
- Host sprint reviews to challenge team delivery and monitor commitment risk.
- Work across the entire ECE solution train to support PI capacity forecasts.
- Coordinate inputs, dependencies, and readiness tasks for PI Planning to ensure all teams are prepared.
- Manage agendas, invites, logistics, and facilitation support for PI Planning events.
- Monitor PI commitments, risks, and cross-team dependencies each sprint to maintain predictable delivery.
- Ensure timely PI closure, completing all required artifacts, hygiene checks, and compliance steps.
- Provide PO participation metrics to reinforce accountability and engagement during PI events.
- Conduct Hygiene Reviews for epic status and completeness to ensure PI deliverables meet governance and audit requirements.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $70,000 – $120,000 per year (Estimated)
