Job Title: Network Engineer II

We are seeking a mid-level Network Engineer with 5-6 years of experience who can independently manage advanced networking tasks and is poised to grow into a Senior/Level III role. This position requires a proactive, self-driven engineer capable of handling complex operational challenges and contributing to ongoing network improvements. The role involves a hybrid work model, with 3 to 5 days per week onsite preferred, and a strong preference for local candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead advanced troubleshooting efforts and manage escalations for network issues.
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain enterprise-level network infrastructure.
  • Support various project initiatives and network enhancement efforts.
  • Participate actively in design discussions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure strict adherence to network security policies and segmentation best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5-6 years of hands-on experience in network engineering.
  • Strong expertise in routing, switching, and firewall technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex, multi-layer network issues.
  • Proven experience with network configuration, deployment, and change management processes.
  • Solid understanding of network security, segmentation, and enterprise architecture principles.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience mentoring or guiding junior engineers is considered a plus.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be willing to obtain NERC/CIP certification upon onboarding.
  • The ideal candidate is a mid-level engineer ready to assume greater responsibility.
  • Possesses a strong troubleshooting mindset and a proactive ownership attitude.
  • Growth-oriented and interested in advancing to a Senior Engineer position.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid, collaborative environment.

Interview Process:

The interview process includes a video interview followed by an in-person interview.

Special Requirements

Compensation & Location

Salary: $55 – $75 per year (Estimated)
