Job Title: Database Administrator

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Database Administrator with a minimum of 12 years of mandatory experience to join our team. This is a 100% onsite position located in Tallahassee, FL. The role offers flexibility in employment type, including C2C, W2, and 1099.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain IBM DB2, SQL Server 2016 and above, Oracle 19c and above, and Azure SQL databases.
  • Ensure the performance, integrity, and security of relational database management systems (RDBMS).
  • Perform database performance tuning and monitoring to optimize efficiency.
  • Conduct SQL code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
  • Design and implement database solutions, including database design and administration.
  • Provide enterprise database support, addressing issues and ensuring high availability.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure efficient database usage and integration.
  • Implement and manage database backup and recovery strategies.
  • Monitor database systems for security vulnerabilities and implement necessary controls.
