Role: Senior System Engineer with OSS/BSS
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Engineer with a strong background in system engineering principles and practices, specifically within the OSS/BSS domain in the Telecom industry. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in system design, integration, and implementation, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget. This role requires a deep understanding of system architecture, requirements analysis, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of system architectures that meet project requirements and specifications.
- Conduct requirements analysis and translate them into technical specifications.
- Collaborate with software developers, hardware engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of systems.
- Perform system testing and validation to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Document system designs, processes, and procedures for future reference.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance system performance and reliability.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong knowledge of system engineering principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in system design and architecture.
- Experience with requirements analysis and management.
- Familiarity with system integration and testing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in the Telecom domain, specifically with OSS/BSS.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) processes.
- Familiarity with project management tools and techniques.
- Experience in a telecommunications or technology-focused environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in system engineering.
- Professional certifications in system engineering (e.g., INCOSE) are a plus.
Special Requirements
Onsite. Telecom Domain Exp Required. OSS/BSS experience.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 per year (Estimated)
