Job Title: Automation Engineer Katalon Studio

This role requires strong hands-on experience with Katalon Studio and related automation technologies. The ideal candidate will be proficient in scripting, API testing, and CI/CD integration. Experience in Agile environments is essential.

  • Technical Skills Required:
  • Strong hands-on experience with Katalon Studio (mandatory).
  • Solid understanding of Selenium / WebDriver concepts (Katalon is built on Selenium).
  • Proficiency in Groovy or Java scripting for automation in Katalon.
  • Experience with API testing (REST/SOAP) using Katalon Studio.
  • Version control experience with Git, Bitbucket, or GitHub.
  • CI/CD pipeline integration experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, XPath, CSS selectors for UI element identification.
  • Familiarity with SQL queries for backend validation.
  • Exposure to mobile automation (Android/iOS) using Katalon is a plus.
  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
  • Preferred / Desirable Skills:
  • Knowledge of TestNG or JUnit frameworks.
  • Experience with other automation tools like Selenium, Appium, Postman.
  • Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms such as BrowserStack, LambdaTest, or Sauce Labs.
  • Familiarity with BDD / Cucumber frameworks is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and collaboration skills.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $70,000 – $100,000 per year
