Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior OpenShift Engineer to lead enterprise-wide OpenShift adoption, engineering, and automation initiatives. This role involves driving platform modernization, ensuring security and compliance, and delivering scalable, resilient OCP-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, implement, and optimize OpenShift clusters across hybrid cloud environments.
- Automate infrastructure using Ansible, Terraform, and scripting (Bash/Python).
- Drive CI/CD, DevOps, and containerization best practices using Jenkins, GitLab, Tekton, ArgoCD, etc.
- Develop monitoring and observability solutions using Splunk, Grafana, AppD, Elastic, OpenTelemetry.
- Ensure security, compliance, performance, and high availability across OCP platforms.
- Partner with architecture, security, and platform engineering teams to deliver enterprise-grade cloud solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex OCP, container, networking, and Linux issues.
- Maintain documentation and guide teams on OpenShift standards and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years hands-on OpenShift engineering and container orchestration.
- Strong Linux administration and automation experience (Ansible/Terraform).
- Solid understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with monitoring/observability tools and cloud platforms (Azure/GCP).
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and storage in container ecosystems.
- Excellent communication and ability to work in a fast-paced global environment.
