Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled MuleSoft API Developer with extensive hands-on experience in designing, building, and managing APIs using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. This is a long-term contract/W2 position requiring the candidate to be local to the San Francisco Bay Area and work in a hybrid model.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build robust APIs, including RESTful and SOAP services.
- Implement data transformations using MuleSoft’s DataWeave.
- Manage and orchestrate complex integration flows and API lifecycles.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in testing and production environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful API deployments.
- Maintain documentation for API designs and integration processes.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in MuleSoft and API development.
- Strong, hands-on experience with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Solid understanding of the API lifecycle management.
- Proficiency in DataWeave for data transformation.
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Must be local to the San Francisco Bay Area.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid model.
- Must possess valid work authorization (e.g., Green Card, US Citizen, EAD).
What We Are NOT Looking For:
- Candidates with less than 5 years of direct MuleSoft project experience.
- Individuals with purely theoretical API knowledge without practical implementation experience.
- Candidates who have not worked with DataWeave.
- Those who have only performed support roles without development work.
- Frequent job hoppers with very short-term project engagements.
- Candidates unwilling to commit to a hybrid work model or not local to the Bay Area.
