Job Description: Data Scientist (Agentic AI)
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Data Scientist with expertise in Agentic AI to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for developing and deploying cutting-edge AI solutions that leverage autonomous agents and advanced machine learning techniques. You will be instrumental in translating complex business problems into actionable data-driven strategies and building sophisticated AI models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, validate, and deploy machine learning models end-to-end in production environments, with a strong focus on Agentic AI concepts.
- Design and implement algorithms for autonomous agents, including planning, memory, tool usage, and multi-agent workflows.
- Utilize statistical techniques, data mining, hypothesis testing, and exploratory data analysis to extract insights from large datasets.
- Work with large datasets, data pipelines, and relational databases, ensuring data integrity and efficiency.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business units, to deliver impactful AI solutions at scale.
- Communicate complex analytical concepts and findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Translate business problems into analytical frameworks and define measurable success metrics.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and Agentic AI, and apply them to solve real-world challenges.
- Ensure responsible AI practices are followed, including model explainability, bias mitigation, and governance.
Technical Skills & Experience:
- Advanced degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Statistics, or Applied Mathematics.
- Proven experience building, validating, and deploying machine learning models in production.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages essential for machine learning and advanced analytics, with a primary focus on Python, R, and Scala.
- Familiarity with statistical techniques, data mining, hypothesis testing, and exploratory data analysis.
- Experience working with large datasets, data pipelines, and relational databases.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions quickly.
- Strong understanding of model performance evaluation, experiment design, and model lifecycle management.
- Ability to translate business problems into analytical frameworks and measurable success metrics.
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, product, and business teams to deliver impact at scale.
Good to Have:
- Experience with Generative AI, including large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
- Exposure to Agentic AI concepts, such as autonomous agents, tool usage, planning, memory, and multi-agent workflows.
- Familiarity with modern ML/AI frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) and MLOps tools for deployment and monitoring.
- Experience deploying AI solutions on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) with an understanding of scalability and cost considerations.
- Knowledge of responsible AI practices, including model explainability, bias mitigation, and governance.
