About the Role:

As a Product Manager for our Remote Operations Platform, you will play a key role in driving the development and success of our innovative solutions. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and design to implementation and ongoing optimization. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that our platform aligns with our mission, vision, and key principles while meeting the highest standards of quality, security, and ethical conduct.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of new features and enhancements for the Remote Operations Platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and QA, to deliver high-quality and user-friendly solutions.
  • Define and prioritize product features based on market needs, customer feedback, and industry trends.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of the 3-year roadmap/plan for the Remote Operations Platform.
  • Identify market opportunities and potential areas for innovation to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, including customers, to gather requirements and feedback.
  • Communicate product updates and roadmap plans to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure that security and compliance considerations are integrated into the product development process.
  • Collaborate with the security team to implement and maintain robust security measures in alignment with industry standards and regulations.
  • Drive initiatives to maintain and improve the quality, reliability, and performance of the Remote Operations Platform.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to implement best practices for fault tolerance, load testing, and predictive maintenance.
  • Advocate for user-centric design and usability, ensuring that the platform provides an intuitive and accessible experience.
  • Oversee usability testing and gather user feedback to inform product improvements.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and features to enhance the platform’s capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in a Computer science, advanced Engineering degree or MBA with Product management experience preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager in a technology-driven environment, particularly in remote telematics products.
  • Strong understanding of remote operations, IoT, and connected vehicle services.
  • Knowledge of security best practices, compliance standards, and ethical considerations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate high-level vision into actionable plans.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in the IT industry
  • Strong experience working with and coordinating multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Automotive domain and Connected Vehicle technologies is a plus

Special Requirements

On-site requirement in Auburn Hills, MI. Experience in Automotive domain and Connected Vehicle technologies is a plus.


Compensation & Location

Salary: $120,000 – $180,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: Auburn Hills, MI
