Job Summary:

We have an urgent requirement for a skilled Netcool Developer with expertise in IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps. This is an onsite position located in Basking Ridge, NJ. The role involves integrating and migrating existing Netcool solutions with the Cloud Pak for AIOps platform, ensuring seamless data synchronization and efficient event management.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage IBM Netcool Operations Insight (NOI) components, including Netcool/OMNIbus and Netcool/Impact.
  • Integrate and migrate existing Netcool solutions with IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps using native connectors.
  • Facilitate bidirectional synchronization of event data between Netcool and the Cloud Pak for AIOps platform.
  • Develop and configure event/alert data mapping and transformation rules using JSONata.
  • Create and manage automation policies and runbooks using Netcool/Impact, Python, and Bash scripting.
  • Configure and maintain Netcool probes, gateways, and Web GUI.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to event management, automation, and integrations.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams to enhance system reliability and performance.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience with IBM Netcool Operations Insight (NOI), specifically Netcool/OMNIbus and Netcool/Impact.
  • Proven experience with IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps, including integration and migration.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect on-prem Netcool/OMNIbus and Netcool/Impact with Cloud Pak for AIOps using native connectors.
  • Experience migrating event filters, automations, and runbook policies into the AIOps platform.
  • Proficiency in developing event/alert data mapping and transformation rules (JSONata).
  • Skilled in automation policies and runbooks development (Netcool/Impact, Python, Bash).
  • Familiarity with Netcool probes, gateways, and Web GUI.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Understanding of ML/AI models for event grouping, anomaly detection, and change risk assessment.
  • Experience with Cloud Pak topology and resource management.
  • Integration experience with tools like Splunk, ServiceNow, and Slack.
  • Experience in hybrid-cloud troubleshooting.
  • Collaboration experience with DevOps/SRE teams.

Location and Work Arrangement:

  • Location: Basking Ridge, NJ
  • Work Arrangement: Onsite (candidates must be local or willing to commute daily)

Compensation & Location

Salary: $110,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
