About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend / Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. This role involves writing, testing, and documenting technical work products according to organizational standards. You will be responsible for solving complex technical problems, building components and libraries with far-reaching impact, and delivering high-quality work while coaching more junior engineers. The ideal candidate will conduct root cause analysis to identify systemic problems and lead the execution of action items to address them. You will design thoughtfully integrated systems that model organizational best practices, enabling disparate teams across product domains to deliver value with speed, scale, and reliability.
Key responsibilities include overseeing the management of technical debt in existing systems, driving opportunities to eliminate it within ongoing implementations, and consistently anticipating scaling, latency, and durability challenges. You will guide teams in implementing mitigating strategies and partner with the security organization to incorporate security-conscious practices early in the lifecycle of new systems. Thoughtfully evaluating technical risks and guiding towards practical prevention strategies is crucial. You will consistently reflect on squad delivery practices, recommend improvements to leadership, and drive their implementation. A focus on removing duplication of effort across teams and proactively identifying opportunities for reuse within your span of influence is expected. You will thoughtfully measure and assess team performance and identify areas of development for individuals. Exploring emerging technologies, leading the development of prototypes with little or no guidance, and incorporating them into architectural solutions where appropriate are also key aspects of this role.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or equivalent experience/training.
- 9+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale solutions in production environments.
Top Skills Needed:
- HTML/CSS:
- Understanding of responsive design.
- Experience with CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS.
- JavaScript/TypeScript:
- Experience with TypeScript and modern JavaScript features (ES6+).
- Frontend Frameworks/Libraries:
- Knowledge of JSPs.
- Angular, state management libraries like NGRX/Redux.
- Experience with micro frontend and module federation.
- Experience with web components.
- Testing/Build tool/AI:
- Familiarity with GitHub Copilot, skills, instructions, and agents.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools such as Jasmine, Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.
- Knowledge of build tools like Webpack.
Good to Have:
- Performance Optimization: Skills in optimizing web performance and understanding concepts like lazy loading and minimizing HTTP requests.
- UI/UX Principles: A good eye for design and understanding of user experience principles.
- Knowledge of SEO (search engine optimization).
