Job Title: Business Systems Analyst – Financial Data Warehouse (AWS, Tableau / Cognos)
We are seeking a highly experienced Business Systems Analyst with a strong background in financial domains and data warehousing to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of financial processes, data warehousing architecture, and modern cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for financial data warehousing projects.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
- Design and develop data warehouse and data lake solutions using AWS services.
- Create and maintain data models, ETL/ELT processes, and reporting dashboards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across finance, IT, and business units to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure data accuracy and solution integrity.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing data warehouse solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data warehousing and cloud computing.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst.
- Proven expertise in financial domains, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), budgeting, and reporting.
- Advanced knowledge of Data Warehouse and Data Lake architecture principles and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, and QuickSight.
- Proficiency in data analysis and strong SQL skills.
- Familiarity with reporting and dashboarding tools like Tableau and Cognos.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment, with a requirement for 2 days onsite per week.

This is a long-term contract opportunity (12+ months) located in the Bay Area, CA. The role involves working closely with the finance department to enhance their data warehousing capabilities. You will play a critical role in shaping the future of financial data analytics within the organization.

Compensation & Location
