Job Title: Salesforce Community Architect
We are looking for a skilled Salesforce Community Architect to design, develop, and govern scalable, secure, and high-performance Salesforce Experience Cloud (Communities) solutions. This role is crucial for translating business and customer engagement requirements into end-to-end community architectures, ensuring alignment with Salesforce best practices, security standards, and enterprise integration patterns.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Architecture & Design: Lead end-to-end architecture for Salesforce Experience Cloud implementations, including customer, partner, and employee communities. Define community architecture blueprints, including data models, security models, and sharing rules. Design scalable and reusable Experience Cloud components using LWC, Apex, and declarative capabilities. Ensure solutions align with Salesforce governor limits, performance, and scalability best practices.
- Functional & Technical Leadership: Translate business requirements into technical designs and solution architecture documents. Partner with UX/UI teams to deliver intuitive, accessible, and responsive community experiences.
- Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide expert guidance on Salesforce Community Cloud capabilities.
- Best Practices: Champion Salesforce best practices for security, performance, and scalability within the community platform.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud (Communities).
- Deep understanding of Salesforce security, data sharing, and role hierarchy.
- Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow, and declarative configuration.
- Experience with community templates, custom theming, branding, and UX optimization.
- Experience with design thinking and system integration.
- Ability to handle large data volumes without compromising on performance.
- Experience in handling scalability and performance in design.
- Experience with requirements for heavy customization that may violate best practices, and ability to navigate these challenges.
About the Role:
This is a contract position based in Louisville, KY, offering a competitive hourly rate of $65/hr. The project duration is expected to be significant, allowing for deep engagement with the Salesforce platform.

Additional Information:
This role may involve working with regulated positions requiring specific authorizations such as US Citizens or US Persons, due to regulations like ITAR, NERC CIP, or NRC.
Special Requirements
Contract; US Citizens (or) US Persons only as these may be regulated by any of the below listed per MSA. – ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations). – NERC CIP (NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection). – NRC (Nuclear Regulatory Commission). – Any other regulations as appropriate.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $135,200 – $135,200 per year
