Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Okta Administrator to join our team in Richmond, VA. This is a hybrid role requiring 4-5 years of recent experience in the finance industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, particularly with Okta, and experience in cloud infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, enhance, and support a highly complex, enterprise-level Okta Single Sign-On platform supporting SaaS applications and GCP cloud-hosted environments.
  • Collaborate with enterprise identity teams supporting platforms including PingFederate/PingID, AWS Identity Center, and Okta.
  • Manage enterprise cloud infrastructures in AWS and GCP.
  • Translate business needs into workable technology solutions that meet the needs of internal customers.
  • Participate in or lead troubleshooting and incident resolution of complex, high-severity incidents.
  • Develop automated solutions using scripts, pipelines, and cloud-based serverless computing platforms.
  • Develop detailed architecture, standards, design, and implementation documentation.
  • Analyze the current Authentication Services environment to identify both technical and operational opportunities and develop continuous improvement action plans.
  • Participate in disaster recovery, capacity planning, performance monitoring, and maintenance to ensure high availability.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in IT/cybersecurity.
  • Experience with enterprise Identity Providers (IdPs) such as Okta or GCP.
  • Experience with Cloud Infrastructure management.
  • Bachelors Degree.
  • 5+ years of experience with Okta in enterprise-level environments, including Policy Management, Application Rules, IdP rules, Access Token Management, Adapter Configuration, SAML, OpenID Connect, SSO, and API (oAuth2.0).
  • 5+ years of experience developing complex scripts in Bash, NodeJS, Python, or other languages to develop automated solutions.
  • 5+ years of experience developing Infrastructure as Code in cloud-hosted environments using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Okta and Terraform for setting up applications.
  • Proficiency in the Okta admin console.
  • Experience with backend configurations using Terraform.
  • Admin-level scripting experience.

  • This is a hybrid role based in Richmond, VA.
  • The role requires 4-5 years of recent experience in the finance industry.
  • Interviews will be conducted via Skype.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $70,000 – $100,000 per year (Estimated)
