Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Oracle ERP Finance Functional Consultant to lead the functional analysis, design, and implementation of Oracle ERP Financials, with a specific focus on General Ledger (GL). The ideal candidate will ensure seamless alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements. This role involves close collaboration with finance stakeholders to optimize workflows, enhance data accuracy, and streamline reconciliation and reporting activities.
- Lead functional analysis, design, and implementation of Oracle ERP Financials, focusing on General Ledger (GL).
- Ensure alignment with business and regulatory requirements.
- Gather and document business requirements, translating them into functional specifications.
- Configure Oracle ERP modules accordingly.
- Drive chart of accounts design, financial reporting structures, and period close processes.
- Collaborate with finance stakeholders to optimize workflows, improve data accuracy, and streamline reconciliation and reporting activities.
- Support UAT, training, and post-go-live stabilization, ensuring high user adoption and minimal disruption.
- Provide ongoing functional support, troubleshoot issues, and recommend enhancements to improve system efficiency.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Oracle ERP Financials modules, particularly General Ledger (GL).
- Experience with Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to gather requirements, design solutions, and configure ERP systems.
- Experience in supporting UAT, training, and post-implementation phases.
- Familiarity with keywords like rlang and golang is noted, though not primary requirements for this functional role.
