About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled AI/ML Engineer to join our remote team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building advanced analytic systems, predictive models, and Large Language Models (LLMs). You will be responsible for the technical vision and execution of LLMs at scale, ensuring high-quality data, robust training, and efficient deployment. This is a contract position offering the opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize LLMs for a variety of tasks, such as text generation, translation, question answering, and code generation.
- Perform code auditing of team members to maintain proper coding standards.
- Train and fine-tune LLMs using appropriate machine learning frameworks and tools.
- Deploy LLMs to production and monitor their performance.
- Lead the technical vision and execution of LLMs at scale.
- Develop and implement LLM training and deployment strategies.
- Collaborate with data scientists and senior data scientists to ensure that LLMs are trained on high-quality data.
- Work with product managers to understand customer and user needs and develop LLMs that meet those needs.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in LLM technology.
- Apply software security principles and best practices, secure coding, and implement authentication/authorization procedures.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of coding standards and practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements & plan sprints, and deliver high-quality software applications/solutions.
- Assist in effort estimation and meeting project deadlines.
- Actively participate in Agile team activities, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying AI/ML models, particularly LLMs.
- Proficiency in machine learning frameworks and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Strong understanding of LLM architectures, training methodologies, and deployment strategies.
- Experience with software security principles and secure coding practices.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- Ability to mentor junior developers.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 per year (Estimated)
