Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced AI/ML Technical Lead to architect, design, and scale advanced AI systems. This role requires a strong blend of traditional machine learning expertise and cutting-edge Generative AI (LLM) capabilities. The ideal candidate will drive AI initiatives from research to production and act as a technical leader for the team.
Key Responsibilities
System Architecture:
- Design, develop, and scale secure, high-performance, and cost-efficient ML pipelines and Generative AI applications.
LLM & Generative AI Development:
- Lead implementation of advanced solutions using:
- RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures
- Prompt engineering techniques
- Fine-tuning methods (PEFT, LoRA)
- Models such as Llama 3, Gemini, and OpenAI
Machine Learning Development:
- Build and optimize:
- Predictive models
- Classification systems
- Recommendation engines
Using both deep learning and traditional ML techniques.
MLOps & Deployment:
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for ML models
- Monitor model performance and drift
- Ensure AI safety, compliance, and scalability
Leadership & Mentorship:
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Drive best practices across AI/ML development
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience:
- 8-10 years in Machine Learning or Software Engineering
- Minimum 4+ years deploying deep learning models in production
Education:
- Masters or Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, Mathematics, or equivalent experience
Programming & Frameworks:
- Expert in Python
- Strong hands-on experience with PyTorch (preferred) or TensorFlow
LLM Ecosystem:
- Experience with LangChain and LlamaIndex
- Knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate)
- Familiarity with inference optimization (vLLM, quantization)
Machine Learning & Data:
- Strong in statistical modeling (scikit-learn, XGBoost)
- Experience with large-scale data processing tools (Apache Spark, Ray)
MLOps & Cloud:
- Hands-on with AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of MLflow and FastAPI for deployment
Preferred Qualifications
- Contributions to open-source AI projects
- Experience with multi-modal AI models
- Strong understanding of AI safety, governance, and guardrails

Compensation & Location
Salary: $120,000 – $180,000 per year (Estimated)
