About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Engineer with a strong background in infrastructure, security, data center, and cloud networking. This role requires a deep understanding of network hardware and software technologies, along with best practices for installation and building network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess excellent troubleshooting skills and a proven ability to manage and resolve complex networking issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and build network infrastructure with over 10 years of experience.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of network hardware and software technologies and best practices.
- Possess strong knowledge of PAN firewalls architecture, including ACLs, policies, NATs, IPSEC VPNs, and Global Protect VPNs.
- Experience with SolarWinds IT infrastructure monitoring and provisioning is preferred.
- Proficiency in LAN switching, including VLAN, VTP, STP, etc., is preferred.
- Solid understanding of routing protocols such as ISIS, OSPF, and BGP is preferred.
- Practical experience with technologies like Cisco SDA, ISE, and VXLAN is expected.
- Good working knowledge of Wireless networks, including WLC 9800 and Access Points 9120, is preferred.
- Solid knowledge of Cisco Catalyst 9000 series, Palo Alto firewalls, Nexus 93k series, APC UPS, and OOB network is preferred.
- Experience in network hardware or software/OS testing and validation is preferred.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of how DNS works and experience in deploying and managing DNS environments.
- Experience in managing different Load Balancer solutions.
- Experience with cloud networking and cloud connectivity.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills in identifying and resolving complex networking issues.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in network infrastructure installation and building.
- R&S and/or DC CCNA is required; CCNP is preferred.
- Strong understanding of routing protocols (ISIS, OSPF, BGP).
- Knowledge of PAN firewalls architecture.
- Experience with cloud networking.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CCNP certification.
- Experience with SolarWinds.
- Knowledge of Cisco SDA, ISE, VXLAN.
- Experience with Cisco Catalyst 9000 series, Palo Alto firewalls, Nexus 93k series.
- Experience in network hardware or software/OS testing and validation.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $70,000 – $120,000 per year (Estimated)
