Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Azure Cloud Engineer with a specialization in Enterprise REDIS Management for a fully remote position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and maintaining Azure-based Enterprise Redis infrastructure. A strong understanding of Azure services and hands-on experience with Redis are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploying, configuring, and maintaining Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments.
  • Managing AVD Host pools and session hosts.
  • Configuring AVD Profile Management.
  • Implementing Azure application virtualization RemoteApp Streaming.
  • Managing custom and shared image galleries.
  • Configuring Azure Virtual Networks, subnets, NSGs, and firewalls.
  • Working with Azure Files and Azure NetApp Files.
  • Managing Azure subscriptions and billing.
  • Utilizing Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates for infrastructure deployment.
  • Using Azure CLI and PowerShell for automation and management.
  • Implementing security best practices, including authentication and encryption.
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting using Azure Monitor and Redis Insights.
  • Managing Azure security, including Azure Active Directory and RBAC.
  • Configuring and sizing Azure Redis Cache instances.
  • Optimizing Azure Redis Cache performance and scaling.
  • Securing Azure Redis Cache and configuring networking.
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting Azure Redis Cache.
  • Integrating Azure Redis Cache with other Azure services (e.g., Azure Storage, Azure Service Bus).

Redis-Specific Skills:

  • Proficiency with Redis data structures and commands.
  • Experience with Redis clustering and replication.
  • Knowledge of Redis persistence and backup strategies.
  • Ability to optimize Redis performance.
  • Understanding of Redis security (authentication, authorization).
  • Troubleshooting and debugging Redis issues.
  • Implementing backup and disaster recovery for Redis.
  • Managing upgrades and patches for Redis.
  • Performance tuning and cost management for Redis resources.

Required Certifications & Skills:

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of Azure cloud platform.
  • Hands-on experience with Redis.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker.

Soft Skills:

Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience with the Azure cloud platform.

Special Requirements

Redis is Mandatory. Azure Administrator Associate Certification (or equivalent) required.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $145,600 – $145,600 per year (Estimated)
