Job Description: SAP PP/DS Solution Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP PP/DS Solution Consultant for a remote position. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling capabilities, with a strong preference for candidates with manufacturing or automotive domain experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-depth expertise in SAP Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling, including interactive production planning, detailed scheduling, pegging, planning board, constraint-based planning, model mix planning, multilevel scheduling, and sequencing.
  • Implement Production Planning solutions using SAP ePP/DS, particularly within the Automotive or discrete manufacturing industries.
  • Leverage experience with End-to-End Supply Chain processes, such as Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Inventory Management.
  • Manage and configure Cross-Location Planning scenarios and automated responses to changes in the planning situation.
  • Work with Multi-Level Constraint based Production Plans, Sub-daily Buckets, Telescopic Time Buckets, and Time Dependent Safety Stock.
  • Apply experience in Automotive manufacturing or Repetitive manufacturing industries.
  • Communicate complex technical ideas and concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate effectively with a wide range of team members at all organizational levels.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 10-15 years of experience in Manufacturing/Automotive domain preferred.
  • Expert-level knowledge of SAP Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS).
  • Proven experience implementing SAP ePP/DS solutions in Automotive or discrete manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with E2E Supply Chain processes.
  • Experience with advanced planning concepts like Cross-Location Planning and constraint-based planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
