Job Description: Senior Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is critical for maintaining the stability, performance, and security of our enterprise and data center network infrastructure. You will be responsible for managing complex Cisco-based networking environments, ensuring high availability and continuous operations.

  • Supports the stability, performance, and security of enterprise and data center network infrastructure.
  • Manages Cisco-based networking environments including Cisco Catalyst and Nexus platforms, wireless networks, ISE, and IPS.
  • Ensures high availability, security compliance, and continuous operations.
  • Designs, implements, and maintains internal and external network infrastructure supporting critical business applications.
  • Supports day-to-day network operations and ongoing initiatives, including routing and switching troubleshooting, maintenance activities, and operational support.
  • Develops and implements new network designs and improvements to enhance performance, resiliency, and scalability.
  • Plans and executes network upgrades in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Proactively monitors and analyzes network health using enterprise monitoring and management platforms.
  • Participates in cloud migration and hybrid network initiatives.
  • Ensures network availability, security, and compliance with enterprise standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience supporting enterprise grade routers and switches in large data center environments.
  • Expert-level knowledge of BGP and OSPF, including traffic engineering, route optimization, and failover design.
  • Strong expertise in TCP/IP troubleshooting and packet analysis.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and supporting: BGP, OSPF, and STP on Cisco NX-OS and IOS-XE platforms.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and supporting Cisco Nexus (9K, 7K) and Catalyst switches and routers.
  • Proven experience designing, planning, testing, implementing, and troubleshooting large-scale data center networks.
  • Experience with network management and monitoring tools, such as SolarWinds and Cisco Catalyst Center.
  • Experience with cloud networking and hybrid network architectures.
  • Candidates should be able to clearly articulate and provide examples of: Designing and implementing BGP and/or OSPF routing architectures, Troubleshooting complex routing issues in production environments, Supporting or leading data center network deployments or migrations, Real-world scenarios involving failover, convergence, and traffic optimization.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $120,000 – $180,000 per year (Estimated)
