Role: Business Analyst
We are actively seeking a skilled Business Analyst for an on-site opportunity with the Florida Department of Education. This role requires a strong blend of technical, analytical, and stakeholder management capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business and technical analysis, design, and planning sessions, with a deep understanding of data extraction and statistical analysis.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience coordinating technical integrations across multiple teams.
- Strong background in business and technical analysis, design, and planning sessions.
- Hands-on experience with data extraction, query development, and statistical analysis.
- Proven ability to support end users and provide technical assistance.
- 5+ years of experience in technical documentation (requirements, design, testing, data flow, etc.).
- Experience in data consolidation, normalization, and validation.
- Familiarity with State of Florida rules and regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of web technologies, network infrastructure, and security (preferred).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead requirements gathering, validation, and documentation.
- Manage project planning, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
- Support testing phases including UAT and defect tracking.
- Ensure adherence to technical standards and project governance.
- Oversee risk management, change control, and project deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery.
