Job Title: Technical Software Engineering Manager (Web/Mobile)

Position Summary:
The Technical Software Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of modern web and mobile applications. This role requires a combination of strong technical expertise and leadership capabilities to manage engineering teams, drive architectural decisions, and ensure high-quality software delivery. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including product, business, and operations teams, to align technology solutions with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers focused on web and mobile application development.
- Oversee the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including architecture, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
- Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Establish and enforce best practices related to coding standards, testing strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and system reliability.
- Contribute to and guide architectural decisions across frontend, backend, and platform systems.
- Monitor team performance, track delivery metrics, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and organizational standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of software engineering experience.
- Proven experience leading engineering teams or managing large-scale development initiatives.
- Strong background in designing and delivering enterprise-level applications in structured environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Technical Skills:
- Frontend Technologies: React, React Native, TypeScript / JavaScript
- Backend Technologies: C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, RESTful API development
- DevOps & Tools: Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipeline implementation, YAML pipelines and ARM templates
- Testing Tools: Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Postman, JMeter
- Data & Platforms: SQL Server, Cosmos DB, NoSQL databases
- Other Tools & Environments: Git, SonarQube, Checkmarx, Windows and Linux environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience within financial services, banking, lending, or other regulated industries.
- Exposure to large-scale application modernization programs.
