Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled GIS Architect to design and lead enterprise geospatial solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in GIS architecture, enterprise geospatial platforms, and cloud technologies. This role requires strong technical leadership and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect enterprise-level GIS solutions and strategies.
- Develop and optimize GIS applications, automation workflows, and data pipelines.
- Architect integrations between GIS and other enterprise systems using APIs.
- Manage and scale cloud-based GIS infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Provide technical leadership, enforce best practices, and establish GIS standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform performance tuning and optimization of GIS servers and applications.
- Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of geospatial systems.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in GIS Architecture & Enterprise Geospatial Solutions.
- Expertise in ESRI stack (ArcGIS, ArcPy) and other GIS platforms.
- Proficiency in Python (GDAL, GeoPandas) for GIS automation & spatial analysis.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services.
- Strong knowledge of geospatial data (vector/raster) & databases (PostGIS, SQL Server, Oracle).
- Hands-on experience in web & mobile GIS application development.
- Expertise in API integrations (REST/SOAP) across enterprise systems.
- Experience in GIS server deployment, performance tuning & optimization.
- Strong understanding of system design, scalability & enterprise architecture.
- Excellent stakeholder collaboration & technical leadership skills.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $75 – $80 per year
